LICHFIELD made it two wins in as many games with a 13-run triumph at West Bromwich Dartmouth 2nds.
After opting to bat first, the city side saw openers Adam Braddock and Harry Turley-Salmons both dismissed after scoring 11 each.
But Ihsaan Nadeem’s 66 and unbeaten knocks of 83 and 57 from Mohamed Karol and Rory Prentice saw them round off the innings on 276-3.
The early wicket of West Bromwich captain Rawlston Tappin gave Lichfield the perfect start in the field.
When Subjan Bari was bowled by James Suttle to leave the hosts on 50-2, things looked positive for the visitors.
But Nihal Virk’s 76 and Osman Bari’s 78 got West Bromwich back in contention.
Their partnership was finally broken when Nadeem caught Bari off the bowling of Prentice – and then Virk was skittled by Ijaz Yousaf to leave the home side on 218-4.
There was little resistance in the rest of the order as Lichfield bowled West Bromwich out for 263.
Yousaf was the pick of the city side’s bowlers with figures of 3-43.
