A Lichfield museum has celebrated the 280th birthday of Erasmus Darwin.
The festivities at Erasmus Darwin House saw the doors opened for free and a range of activities on offer for visitors.
The birthday cake was cut by Lichfield Bower Queen Gemma Louise Powell, before a group of young carol singers took centre stage.
