A Lichfield museum is to throw its doors open for free.
Erasmus Darwin House will drop its entry fee for 14 weeks as part of its 15th anniversary celebrations.
A spokesperson said: “Everyone is invited to visit the beautiful Georgian town-house that was once home to the famous poet, inventor, scientist, and grandfather of Charles Darwin, the incredible Dr Darwin, free of charge and as often as they like.”
The museum features a number of interactive displays and models of his inventions, as well as a display of 18th Century botany in the herb garden.
