A pub in Lichfield is among the first in the country to roll out new high jackpot gaming machines.
The Scales Inn, on Market Street, has introduced the new £70 top prize machines after a change in the law allowed them to be used.
According to a report in The Publican, the changes to the machines – which will see players able to pay a £1 stake to try and win the increased jackpot – came about as part of an electronic download.
