Pupils at a Lichfield school will get the chance to raise money with their own Race for Life.
The Chadsmead Primary Academy youngsters will all wear pink and will complete as many laps as they can of the school field in half-an-hour to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
A spokesperson for the school said: “There will be water stations dotted around the course, to give the feeling of a proper race and every child will receive a medal for taking part.
“As the majority of people will know of someone who has been affected by this disease, so we feel this is a very worthy cause.”
The event will take place on July 3.
People can donate via the school’s JustGiving page.
