Lichfield residents are being invited to make a bird feeder at a workshop in the city.
Beacon Park will host the event on Saturday (October 29) and will see rangers showing people how to make a feed using pine cones, string, lard and seeds.
Councillor Val Richards said: “Making a bird feeder and putting it up in your garden is a great way to help the birds, especially as winter is approaching. You will also receive a leaflet which includes interesting facts about birds.”
Each bird feeder costs £1 and the session – which runs between 11am and 3pm – does not need to be booked. Participants need to head for the Swinfen Broun Pavilion on the day.
