Lichfield RUFC wrap up their pre-season campaign with a home clash against Old Patesians this weekend (August 30).
The Myrtle Greens have secured a 43-5 triumph against Newport and shown plenty of steel in a 33-12 defeat at Sale.
A spokesperson said: “The coaching team are pleased with the progress made so far.
“The games have given an opportunity to see over 40 players against challenging opposition.”
Lichfield’s league campaign kicks-off on September 6 at Old Halesonians.
