A FUNDRAISING Santa Dash is set for its biggest year yet with more than 250 runners signed up.
The event takes place on Sunday (15th December) to provide festive fun and also support the work of local kindness champion Sebbie Hall.
Now 21, Sebbie – who was born with a rare chromosome anomaly that impacts his physical and learning abilities – began efforts to bring a smile to the faces of people when he was 17.
Since then he has taken part in a range of activities to spread kindness, including donating thousands of pounds worth of pantomime tickets to disadvantaged children, supported food banks and brought toys and joy to children and adults in social care.
The Lichfield Santa Dash has seen Sebbie add a new twist with spectators and participants asked to bring a tin or non-perishable food item to help create a huge Christmas hamper.

“The Lichfield Santa Dash isn’t just a run – it’s a community coming together to celebrate kindness.
“Even if you’re not running, everyone is encouraged to come down to Stowe Pool at 10.30am, bring a donation and join in the fun.
“Whether you’re a Santa, a supporter, or a spectator, your presence will help spread kindness and joy to those who need it most. ”
