LICHFIELD produced a solid performance to get the better of Aldridge.
The city men opted to bat first after the winning the toss, but saw Harry Turley-Salmons removed for just ten.
But number three Ihsaan Nadeem constructed a fine innings to steer the Lichfield score in the right direction as he made 107 from 106 balls.
He was aided by a 47 from Thomas Clarke and an unbeaten 37 from Nick Richards as the city side eventually wrapped up their innings on 262-6.
Aldridge made a steady response, with George Handsaker hitting 69 as they looked to chase down a tough target.
But the Lichfield bowlers were making runs hard to come by, with partnerships not being allowed to develop.
When Handsaker was caught by Turley-Salmons off the bowling of Clarke to leave the score on 153-7, the Aldridge challenge faded with their lower order struggling for runs.
The visitors were eventually skittled out for 179 inside 47 overs.
Clarke was the pick of the Lichfield bowlers as he finished with figures of 42-4.
