Lichfield’s swinging monkey is back is back on his bar after an online campaign to save him.
Levi – who has been a fixture at Friary Shoes for more than 20 years – had been earmarked for the big shop window in the sky after his motor broke.
But a Facebook petition saw a u-turn and he was instead sent off to be fixed.
And now the shop has confirmed its furry friend is back in the window.
“Levi the monkey is back to his swinging self,” a spokesperson said. “It really is great to have him back.”
