A TV comedy penned by a Lichfield writer has been axed.

BBC Three show White Van Man was created by Adrian Poynton and ran for two series.
But channel bosses confirmed the show – which is also being adapted for American audiences – would not be returning.
The Lichfield writer said on his Twitter account: “On behalf of everyone involved, thank you for your support.
“We were all ready to do more but the BBC have decided against it.”
He later reassured fans that he was “moved” by their support of the show – which starred Will Mellor – and insisted he had new projects in the pipeline.
