A Lichfield fun run has been cancelled – after not enough people signed up to take part.
Friary Grange Leisure Centre’s event was due to take place on Sunday (April 21).
But Councillor Val Richards blamed poor weather for the lower than expected take-up.
“We’re disappointed to cancel the fun run, but understand that the recent bad weather may have put people off from entering the outdoor event.
“We hope anyone who was planning to turn up on the day won’t be too disappointed and are we look forward to holding a Family Fun Run in June.”
The next planned Family Fun Run will still take place on June 2.
