A MAN has been arrested following a serious assault in Lichfield city centre.
Police were called to the Ricco and Loren Bar at on Market Street at 11.25pm yesterday (24th May) after reports a person had been punched.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said:
“He was taken to hospital with serious injuries where he remains in a critical condition.
“A second victim also remains at hospital.
“A 36-year-old man, from Solihull, has been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 – grievous bodily harm with intent.
“He remains in custody for questioning.”
