A man has been appeared in court following a car crash left a Burntwood man dead.
Jason Evans, 26, of Hawthorne Crescent died after a car in which he was a passenger crashed in Heath Hayes on March 9.
Twenty-six-year-old Danie Richard Baker of Hussey Road in Walsall was arrested after the crash and appeared at Cannock Magistrates Court yesterday (March 11) charged with causing death by driving without due care while over the prescribed alcohol limit, causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving and causing death by dangerous driving.
He was granted bail to appear at Stafford Crown Court on March 18.
Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses to contact them on 0300 123 44 55, quoting incident number 717 of March 9.
