The body of a man has been found in Chasewater.
The 21-year-old died yesterday (30th June) after getting into difficulties in the water.
A girl he was in the water with managed to make it out safely.
Police were called to the site in Burntwood at around 6pm.
A spokesperson said: “The identities of the people involved are known to officers and their next of kin are being informed. They will be offered support by specially trained officers.
“The Coroner will be informed of the incident, officers continue to investigate the circumstances around what happened and are appealing for anyone with information to call 101 quoting incident 654 of 30 June.”
