A MAN is in a critical condition in hospital after being assaulted in Lichfield city centre.
The incident happened at 11.25pm last night (24th May).
Police were called to reports of a man unconscious after being punched inside the Ricco and Loren bar on Market Street.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said:
“The suspect also punched a second man, who was standing next to first victim, who has also been taken to hospital.
“The suspect left the pub via the back and headed towards Bore Street and the Guildhall.
“He is described as white, in his 30s, 6ft 5ins tall with a stocky build. He has a bald head and a brown or ginger beard. He was wearing a baggy white top, dark knee-length shorts, white trainers and a Gucci bag.”
