Police have confirmed the death of a man following a crash in Lichfield.
A black Hyundai i20 crashed on Curborough Road at around 4.50am yesterday (October 12).
“Unfortunately a male passenger in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene,” said a Staffordshire Police spokeswoman. “The driver of the vehicle was arrested and has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
“Formal identification is yet to take place and the man’s family are being supported by specially trained officers.”
