Man suffers head injury after falling from a ladder in Lichfield

A man has been airlifted to hospital after falling from a ladder in Lichfield.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to a property on The Leasowe in Lichfield shortly after 1pm on Sunday (September 13).

An ambulance and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Stafford were sent to the scene.

A spokeswoman said:

“A man, believed to be in his 50s, was reportedly up a ladder outside the property when he fell to the floor. The man suffered a serious head injury. Crews treated the man at the scene and stabilised his condition before he was flown to Selly Oak Hospital; the region’s specialist trauma centre. Medics were placed on standby awaiting the arrival of the man at hospital.”
