A man has suffered head injuries after being hit by a car near Lichfield.
The accident happened on the Rugeley Road in Armitage just after 9pm yesterday (November 7) and saw a man in his 60’s taken to hospital.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said:
“On arrival at the scene crews found a car and pedestrian that had been in collision. The pedestrian was treated for a head injury.
“The man was immobilised using a neck collar and spinal board before being taken to University Hospital of North Staffordshire for further assessment and treatment.”
