FIRE service reforms and funding concerns will be up for discussion at a meeting next week.
Staffordshire Commissioner Ben Adams and deputy chief fire officer Glynn Luznyj will provide updates at the Fire Public Performance Meeting at 10am on Thursday (7th May).
They will also discuss the upcoming inspection by His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire and Rescue Services and updates from the previous phase of inspections.
The meeting will also receive update figures revealing the number of incidents attended by Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service crews between October 2026 and March 2026 had increased to 4,383 from 4,127 the year before.
Commissioner Adams said:
“I would encourage anyone wanting to hear more about the work the Service is doing to follow Thursday’s meeting, which will be livestreamed online and available to watch in full afterwards.”
