A LOCAL group has been given a chance to try their hand at bowls.
Members of 41 Club Spires enjoyed a taster session at Lichfield Bowling Club where they were able to enjoy "tuition, support and lots of encouragement".
People interested in giving bowls a try can take part in social sessions on Monday and Wesnesday mornings. There are also free taster sessions on Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm at the club's base behind The Bowling Green pub.
