A motorcyclist has been seriously injured after a crash on the A38 near Fradley.
The biker, in his forties, was airlifted to hospital after the crash on the southbound carriageway at 2pm yesterday (July 20).
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “He had numerous serious injuries. They include injuries to his chest and abdomen. He had fractured ribs and a fractured leg.
“His limbs were splinted and he was immobilised. The doctor on board the Midlands Air Ambulance anaesthetised him at the scene and maintained his airway.”
