A LICHFIELD museum is hosting a drop in session for people to find out more about volunteering opportunities.
Residents can visit Erasmus Darwin House between 10.30am and 12.30pm on Friday (3rd July).
The charity behind the museum is hoping to fill roles welcoming the public at the reception desk and helping to deliver interactive school visits.
Museum manager Marie Burbage said:
"Our drop-in morning is completely relaxed with zero pressure.
"We are looking for friendly faces to greet our visitors and enthusiastic helpers to bring history to life for school groups.
"If you have a few hours to spare each week, just drop in on the 3rd of July to see what we are all about."
People who cannot make the drop-in session can still express their interest by emailing manager@erasmusdarwin.org.
Full training is provided for all positions, meaning no past museum experience is necessary. The drop-in session will also offer information on alternative roles, including acting as a tour guide or assisting with weddings and events.
