THE anniversary of the D-Day landings will be marked by a ceremony at the National Memorial Arboretum.
One of the most decisive acts of World War Two, the campaign saw Allied troops go ashore on mainland Europe on route to defeating the Nazis.
The 82nd anniversary will be marked on Saturday (6th June) with an act of remembrance and wreath laying ceremony at the Normandy Campaign Memorial.
Attendance is open to veterans, bereaved families and descendants of those who served during D-Day.
