New Barton United boss hoping to build on solid foundations

The new Barton United manager is hoping to build on the solid foundations at the club.

Adam Wall has landed the post and will take over from Stuart Johnson after tomorrow’s game at Stratford.

And he already has his sights on next season. He said: “During the interview I explained the role which I think I can play to move the club on.

“Barton United already have a fantastic base of players which I hope to build on. I can’t wait for pre-season to begin.”

His full coaching team is yet to be decided but current boss Johnson has already offered to help ensure a smooth transition.

Barton’s chairman Hugh Kirke said: “We had some strong applications, but Adam’s enthusiasm, contacts and existing knowledge of the club helped him to get the role.

“Adam had already been involved with us so he has a good understanding of where we are, which will help him with his planning for the future.”
