Chasetown FC’s new manager Craig Harris faces an immediate rebuilding job after two key figures confirmed their departure.
Strike duo Dean Perrow and Gary Birch have both left the Scholars Ground following the club’s relegation.
Harris confirmed the pair had moved on at a forum with supporters at the club.
Perrow has left for Leamington, while former Walsall man Birch is believed to be heading for Solihull Moors.
“It was out of my hands unfortunately,” said Harris. “I never got to speak to Gary or Dean.
“If players want to move on, there is only so much you can do to keep them. I want players who are excited to be here next season.”
