LICHFIELD say they have made a “statement signing” after bringing in a new backs and attack coach.
Tom Hughes will take on the role following a spell at Leek.
Previous posts have seen him achieve promotion campaigns and cup wins at the likes of Lymm, Longton and Stoke, as well as developing young talent through the Sale Academy
He said:
“I’m really excited to get started at Lichfield. There’s huge potential here and I can’t wait to work with the players and staff to build something special.”
Head coach Paul Hurst said:
“When I first met Tom, his passion and enthusiasm for the game came out in abundance.
“I’m sure the playing squad will feel that same energy when we begin pre-season training in June.”
