A series of summer city tours are taking place in Lichfield.

Ten more guides have recently joined the Visit Lichfield ranks, meaning more sessions can be offered.
Walks will include:
- Ghosts of Lichfield on 16th July and 15th August at 7.30pm.
- Discover Lichfield on dates including 19th, 21st, 27th and 28th July at 3pm.
- Pubs, Priests and Prostitutes on 7th August at 2pm.
- Hideous History on 29th August at 2pm.
Councillor Iain Eadie, Cabinet member for tourism, said: “Lichfield has been home to many characters, battles and ideas over the years, and going on a guided tour is a fantastic way to find out about our local history and to get a new appreciation of the streets and buildings you may pass all the time.
“Our tours offer great fun for the young and old. If anyone can help us spread the word about the tours, I am sure this would bring Lichfield alive for a lot of people who might not know our stories.”
