A NEW project is bringing free arts opportunities to communities across Lichfield and Burntwood.

Lichfield Arts is launching ECCO – explore, create and connect – in January with support from Lichfield District Council.

The initiative kicks off from 11am to 3pm on 18th January at Spark Burntwood, with free activities including live music and dance performances as well as the chance to try opportunities such as TV presenting and music-making.

A spokesperson said:

“At Lichfield Arts, we believe in the power of creativity to inspire, empower and unite.

“For over 50 years, we have been at the heart of the community, delivering live music and meaningful outreach programmes. ECCO represents our commitment to fostering connection, skill-building, and wellbeing through creative expression.”

“This launch event is part of our commitment to bringing the arts directly to the community, making it accessible, inclusive and impactful.

“The ECCO Project will then visit neighbourhoods throughout the district, offering free and engaging opportunities that celebrate creativity and community.”
