A new £750,000 ride is opening at a popular tourist attraction near Lichfield.
Thomas Land, at Drayton Manor Theme Park, will launch Winston’s Whistle Stop Tour on July 19.
The new addition is the 22nd Thomas and Friends-themed attraction at the park and sees the Fat Controller’s track inspection car take visitors on a monorail tour above Thomas Land.
Colin Bryan, CEO at Drayton Manor Theme Park and Hotel, said: “We are always looking at ways to give our visitors something new and with the celebrations of Thomas Land’s fifth anniversary, what better way to commemorate it than to bring a new character to join us.
“The ride promises to entertain from the moment you take a seat – I’m sure Winston will be a big hit with everyone, young and old.”
