A NEW series of meditation classes is launching in Lichfield.
Curborough Community Centre will host the sessions on Thursdays from 4th June.
Run by Buddhist nun Gen Dema from the Tara International Kadampa Retreat Centre, the classes take place from 7.30pm to 9pm.
A spokesperson said:
“Take a step toward a calmer, happier life by becoming skilled in meditation in a way that fits naturally into your daily life.
“These classes will enable you to let go of stress, overcome anxiety and discover how to build better relationships and improve your physical and mental wellbeing through developing inner peace and confidence.
“We sit on chairs and the session includes two guided meditations and a talk. At the end there is time to chat and ask questions while enjoying refreshments.
“Each session is self-contained so you can join at any time.”
Classes cost £7 and can be booked online or in cash on the night.
