THE tradition of Great British detectives will be explored in a comedy show at the Lichfield Garrick.
Done to Death, By Jove will be at the city theatre on 12th June.
The award-winning tale brings together a spoof homage to the likes of Poirot, Miss Marple and Sherlock Holmes for a night of laughs.
A spokesperson said:
“Who murdered Lady Fanshawe? Why is Matron Maudesly so friendly with one of the guests at the Clinic of Hopes and Cures? And why have the sound cues got mixed up?
“It’s all the more tricky to tell, as British theatrical knights Sir Gavin of Robertson and Sir Nicholas of Collett attempt this six-actor show while the other four actors are stuck in a broken-down van miles away.
“With only the two of them to play all the assigned roles, what could possibly go wrong?”
Tickets are £17.50. For booking details, visit the Lichfield Garrick website or call the box office on 01543 412121.
