Businesses are being urged to support the Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park.
The free event is due to take place on September 3 and Lichfield District Council is hoping sponsors will come forward to help ensure the concert can go ahead.
The organisers are hoping performances by the British Police Symphony Orchestra and the City of Lichfield Concert Band and a fireworks finale will help send the summer off with bang.
Councillor Val Richards said:
“Every year, Lichfield Proms attracts up to ten thousand people who flock to the park to enjoy an evening of wonderful music, fireworks and picnics. Community spirit is in abundance and it really is a night to remember. If you are interested in promoting your business to thousands of local people, become a sponsor and make Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park 2011 the best yet.”
