Drivers are being warned of delays as part of two key commuter routes around Lichfield are repaired.
The northbound carriageway of the A5 between Wall Island and Muckley Corner will closed between 9pm and 6am from September 10 to 14.
Meanwhile, the southbound carriageway of the A38 between HMP Swinfen and Swinfen Island will also be shut overnight from September 12 to 20.
Jessica Kenny from the Highways Agency said: “These essential works will improve driving conditions and prolong the life of the carriageways.
“Works have been carefully planned to keep disruption to a minimum. They are being carried out overnight, when traffic flows are lowest.
“We do advise drivers however to check conditions and leave extra time for their journeys if necessary.”
