People are being urged to support Beacon Park in its bid to win a People’s Choice Award.
The Green Flag Award competition gives residents the chance to vote for their favourite green space.
Lichfield District Council is hoping Beacon Park can be one of the ten winners.
Councillor Iain Eadie, Cabinet member for leisure, said: “We know that Beacon Park is a much loved local park and thousands of people enjoy all that it has to offer each year – we’re now hoping plenty of people will show their support and vote it to win a People’s Choice award.
“It would be fantastic to see Beacon Park win one of the top spots, especially for our parks team and our many volunteers.”
The poll will close at noon on September 30, with the winners announced in October. T
