A person had died after being hit by a train near Lichfield.
The incident happened at the railway bridge near the A515 in Kings Bromley at 5.45pm yesterday (December 18).
A West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “A responder paramedic and a paramedic area support officer attended the scene.
“Sadly, it quickly became apparent that nothing could be done to save the patient and death was confirmed on scene.”
