BOSSES of a local pharmacy say they're "proud" of their achievements since taking over the business earlier this year.

Nimesh Vansia and his wife Hinal fulfilled a dream of owning their own business when they took on Chasetown Pharmacy in February.

The couple say they've been "overwhelmed" by the support of the local community ever since.

Nimesh said:

"As first-time pharmacy owners, we’ve put our hearts into creating a pharmacy that the local community can rely on. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved in our first few months.

"We’ve both worked in pharmacy for many years, but owning our own pharmacy has always been a dream.

"When the opportunity came to take on Chasetown Pharmacy, we saw it as a chance not only to realise that ambition but also to build on the strong foundations already in place.

"The previous owners established a well-respected pharmacy within the community, and we wanted to continue the great work they had done while bringing our own ideas and vision for the future.

"From day one, our focus has been on providing excellent NHS care while making the pharmacy a welcoming place where patients feel listened to, valued and supported.

"We’ve been overwhelmed by the warm welcome we’ve received from the people of Burntwood and the surrounding areas. It’s been fantastic getting to know our patients personally and building relationships within the community.

"We believe community pharmacy is about much more than dispensing prescriptions – it’s about being accessible, approachable and providing healthcare when people need it most."

The couple also paid tribute to the "hard work" of the team at the pharmacy – and said they hoped to continue growing the business.

Nimesh added:

"Looking ahead, we have plenty of fresh ideas and exciting plans over the next few years.

"We want to continue expanding the services we offer, invest further in the pharmacy and become an even bigger part of the local community.

"This is just the beginning for us, and we’re excited about what the future holds. We hope to continue making a positive difference to the health and wellbeing of the people of Burntwood and the surrounding communities for many years to come."
