Plans have been submitted to knock down a disused Lichfield pub.
The Windmill on Grange Lane will be replaced by 13 new homes if Lichfield District Council’s planning chiefs give the proposals the go-ahead.
A previous scheme to demolish the pub and put a 54-bedroom elderly care home on the site was withdrawn in 2011.
The latest application would see six three-bedroom properties and seven two bedroom apartments built.
The scheme also includes parking spaces for 21 cars and remodelling work to the large embankment at the pub.
