
Police are appealing for help to trace a missing man last seen in Staffordshire.
Matthew Charnley, 34 and from Chandler’s Ford, Eastleigh, Hampshire, was last seen by his mother at 12pm on December 1.
Mr Charnley was seen by police in Exeter on December 3, but there is still concern for his welfare following a visit to relatives in Staffordshire on Monday (December 7).
Since December 1 Matthew Charnley has had sporadic contact with his family which has resulted in an increasing concern for his health and welfare. Mr Charnley has not been contactable at all since leaving his relative’s address in Staffordshire, raising further concern for his emotional stability.
He is described as white, 6ft tall, slim, short dark hair and he was wearing dark clothing. He was driving a white Toyota Hi Lux pick-up truck with red and white bands around the vehicle, registration number X236 KAC.
Anyone who believes they may have seen Mr Charnley is asked to contact police immediately, dialling 999.
