A man has died after being pulled from Stowe Pool, police have confirmed.
The incident happened at around 5.40pm yesterday (8th July) when officers were called to reports of a man getting into difficulty in the water.
Emergency services, included the Midlands Air Ambulance were called to the scene.
The man, in his 50s, was taken to hospital but died a short time later.
There are believed to be no suspicious circumstances and his next of kin has been informed. A report is being prepared for HM Coroner.
The matter is being referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) due to previous police contact.
