Nigel said: “We were so grateful for the support of people during what we can only describe as quite a gruelling challenge.

“I was riding in memory of Lee Tomlinson who died at the age of nine and his parents, John and Sue, were at the finishing line.

“It was heart-warming how many people in the village turned out and applauded us.”

Nigel has so far raised £3,300 for two causes, Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Midland Air Ambulance. Dave has raised in excess of £1,000 for Combat Stress.

Anyone who would like to donate can still to do so by visiting Nigel’s JustGiving page or Dave’s JustGiving page.
