Lichfield has been given a thumbs-down in a parody song played on the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show.
DJ Chris Moyles played Wolverhampton Gurls – a parody of the Katy Perry song California Girls.
And while the song puts the boot into the Black Country, with references to highlights such as Beatties, Lichfield gets an unfortunate namecheck.
The line in the song goes:
“You could go and see Lichfield, though there’s nothing really there.”
