Neighbourhood police in the Stowe area of Lichfield are staging a New Year surgery where people can meet their local officers and raise any community issues.

PCSO Liane Haddock, one of the local officers for the Stowe area, will be at the event on January 9 at the Cruck House in Stowe Street between 2pm and 4pm.

The officer explained:

“The surgery is a chance for local people who live or work in the Stowe area to enjoy a ‘cuppa with a copper’ and raise any local concerns they may have.”

The surgery is part of a drive by Trent Valley police to encourage people to get to know their local neighbourhood officers and discuss community concerns.

People can get their neighbourhood officer’s name, telephone and e-mail contact  details by visiting their local police station, calling the force on 0300 123 44 55 or clicking on the local policing link on the homepage of the force’s website.
