Servicemen and women offered discounted entry to theme park near Lichfield

Military personnel and their families are being offered discount entry into a theme park near Lichfield as part of the Armed Forces Day celebrations.

Servicemen and women will be allowed into Drayton Manor Theme Park for £16 on Saturday and Sunday (June 25 and 26).

Colin Bryan, managing director of Drayton Manor Theme Park, said:

“We’re extremely proud to be able to show our appreciation and support for our armed forces during this special weekend. The men and women who make up the armed forces family do a tremendous job and deserve our respect.

“Drayton Manor has a wide variety of rides and attractions, from Thomas Land and Ben 10: Ultimate Mission rollercoaster, as well as some fantanstic white knuckle rides and zoo. I’m sure the service personnel and their families will love their visit to the park.”

To receive this discount, a valid military identifaction card will have to be presented when purchasing tickets on the day of the visit. A maximum of four people can get discount entry per ID card.
