Shenstone Pathfinder slipped up in their attempts to keep the pressure on the teams at the top as they went down 1-0 against Trysull.
The defeat means Shenstone now sit fifth in Division One of the West Midlands Regional League as one of four teams on 18 points behind leaders Bromyard Town who have amassed 24.
Paths now have a break from action until they travel to the table-toppers on November 1.
