THREE sisters are hoping for help to achieve their dream of representing their country on the international stage.
Ava Atkinson, Evie Atkinson and Courtney Moulding have the opportunity to travel to Australia in 2027 as part of the Matt Fiddes Martial Arts UK squad.
Aged five, six and 12 respectively, they have achieved multiple medals at national championships.
Their mother Kalee said the opportunity to continue their martial arts journey on the international stage was reward for their hard work.
She added:
"Martial arts has truly transformed their confidence and self-belief.
"It has helped them socially, emotionally and mentally, while also teaching them discipline, resilience and teamwork.
"Watching how much they have grown through martial arts has been incredible as a parent.
"Between them they have recently achieved multiple medals at UK championships, including six gold, four silver and two bronze medals, and have now been given the amazing opportunity to compete and train internationally in Australia."
A fundraiser has now been launched in a bid to help the trio take to part in Australia next year.
Kalee added:
"We are currently trying to raise approximately £6,000 to help cover flights, accommodation, transport and competition costs for the trip and are reaching out to our local community for support.
"Alongside donations, we are also currently looking for local businesses or organisations who may be interested in sponsoring the girls on their journey.
"Any sponsorship, fundraising opportunities or support would mean the world to them and help make this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity possible."
