Lichfield residents concerned about speeding in the Curborough area of the city are being invited to a meeting with police officers.

The October 23 meeting will see PC Dave Fletcher, PCSO Maggie Griffiths and a representative from Lichfield District Council discussing concerns with local people at the Jigsaw Shop on Dimbles Lane.

PCSO Griffiths said:

“We look forward to meeting the residents of Curborough because we are actively seeking support for the Community Speedwatch campaign.”

The neighbourhood policing team has asked that any residents wishing to volunteer for the Community Speedwatch come along to JIGSAW for more details.

Chris Gillian, from Lichfield Crime Prevention Panel, will also be available to offer advice on preventing crime and tips on keeping your home safe and secure.
