Players and supporters of Lichfield City FC will be getting in the saddle to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
A charity bike ride around the city will take place on May 10.
They have been inspired to take up the challenge after Brendan Heath, a member of the club, was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer.
A spokesperson said: “The bike ride entails a set route around the Lichfield area with regular refreshment breaks in many of Lichfield’s finest establishments!
“Brendan would like to share money raised with the Teenage Cancer Trust which is supporting him with his treatment.”
