The Staffordshire Regiment Museum in Whittington has been honoured for the work of its volunteers.
The attraction was one of 14 across the county who collected a Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.
The honour is the equivalent of an MBE for groups.
Staffordshire County Council leader Philip Atkins said: ““We have some amazing unsung heroes across the whole of Staffordshire who give up their time to stretch out a helping hand to people in their communities.”
