Wire Afternoon Tea
On Friday 22nd November, Staffordshire Women in Rural Enterprise (WiRE) will hold its annual afternoon tea event to celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week. The event, which runs from 1-4pm, is aimed at women who are currently in business, recently starting up – or even just thinking about it!
This is an excellent opportunity to network with other local businesswomen and hear some inspiring speakers, such as Anouska Knight – local author and winner of the Lorraine Kelly ‘Racy Reads’ competition. Lichfield advocate, Louie Clegg, will also be sharing her expertise to help you ‘Take a Step Forward’ – the theme for Global Entrepreneurship Week 2013.
The area’s finest design makers will also be selling their wares, which could make beautiful hand-crafted Christmas present ideas. All of this, as well as buttermilk scones with tea or coffee, for just £15.
All women are welcome. Just bring business cards, a purse and a sense of fun!
